– Venue: SimRacing Garage, Bulgaria
– Date and Time: December 1, 2024, starting at 5:30 PM
– Participants: 18 drivers, divided into 3 groups based on the lap times recorded in October during the preliminary Hotlap Challenge
– Goal: To crown the best driver through qualifications, semifinals, and a grand final
– Entry Fee: 30 BGN
– Format:
– A 5-minute qualification session will precede each semifinal to determine the starting grid.
– Drivers will have free track access to set their fastest lap.
– The results of the qualification session will determine the starting positions for the corresponding semifinal.
– Semifinal C: Drivers ranked 18th to 12th
– Semifinal B: Drivers ranked 12th to 6th
– Semifinal A: Drivers ranked 6th to 1st
– Format:
– Each semifinal will consist of 5 laps on the Red Bull Ring circuit.
– All simulators and equipment will be standardized, with locked car setups.
– Advancement to the Final:
– The top 2 drivers from each semifinal will qualify for the Grand Final.
– Format:
– A 10-minute qualification session will precede the Grand Final to determine the starting grid.
– All 6 qualified drivers will have free track access to set their fastest lap.
– The results of the qualification session will determine the starting positions for the Grand Final.
– Format:
– The Grand Final will be contested by the top 6 drivers, consisting of 10 laps on the same Red Bull Ring circuit.
– The simulators and conditions will remain identical to the semifinals and qualification session.
– Final Standings:
– Winners will be determined based on their finishing positions.
– The competition will be overseen by Kiril, Alexander, and Hristo.
– In the event of disputes, drivers have 5 minutes after the session ends to file a protest.
– Protests will be reviewed behind closed doors, and the decision of the Race Control is final.
– All simulators and equipment will be fully standardized.
– Driving aids such as ABS, Traction Control, and Stability Control will be disabled.
– Car damage will be enabled.
– Race Control will monitor for proper conduct on the track.
– Intentional collisions, blocking, or any other unsportsmanlike behavior is prohibited.
– Violations will be penalized with a warning or disqualification, depending on the severity.
The finalists will receive the following monetary prizes:
– 1st Place: 200 BGN
– 2nd Place: 100 BGN
– 3rd Place: 50 BGN
– 5:30 PM: Event opening and driver briefing
– 5:45 PM: Qualification for Semifinal C (5 minutes)
– 6:00 PM: Semifinal C (5 laps)
– 6:15 PM: Qualification for Semifinal B (5 minutes)
– 6:30 PM: Semifinal B (5 laps)
– 6:45 PM: Qualification for Semifinal A (5 minutes)
– 7:00 PM: Semifinal A (5 laps)
– 7:30 PM: Short break and preparation for the Grand Final qualification
– 7:45 PM: Qualification for the Grand Final (10 minutes)
– 8:00 PM: Grand Final (10 laps)
– 8:45 PM: Awards Ceremony and Closing
– Participation is reserved for drivers already qualified in October.
